2009 Christmas Parades in Spartanburg/Greenville S.C. As Well as N.C

Since Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away, we know it’s nearing the time for the 2009 Christmas parades in our hometowns. I live in Spartanburg County and wanted to provide my readers with a list of all the Christmas parades that I know about in Spartanburg & Greenville Counties, SC, as well as a couple in NC.

Everyone loves a parade, so make sure to take in as many as you can. Attending them is a great way to kick off the Christmas holidays.

1.Inman, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5th from 10am to 11:30am. It will start at the corner of West Miller Street and N. Main Street. There will be 3 school marching bands and 65 entries. For details visit Inman, SC Christmas Parade.

2. Landrum, SC 2009 Christmas Parade and Stroll- will take place on Thursday, Dec. 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. For details click Landrum SC Christmas Parade.

3. Boiling Springs,SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13th beginning at 10am. The parade is on Hwy. 9. For more information click The Official Town of Boiling Springs Website.

4. Spartanburg, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place Tuesday, Dec. 8th at 6:30pm. The parade starts on Pine Street @ Henry Street and ends on E. Daniel Morgan Ave. and N. Church Street. For complete details, click on 2009 Spartanburg Jaycees Christmas Parade Information.

5. Greer, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place Sunday, Dec. 6th at 3:00pm. It starts at West Poinsett Street and proceeds to N. Main Street. For more information visit Greer, SC – Christmas Parade.

6. Cowpens, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Sat. Nov. 28th at 10am. Visit Cowpens Christmas Parade.

7. Lyman/Wellford, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will be held in Welford on Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 4:00pm. See Lyman Christmas Parade.

8. Greenville Poinsettia, SC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5th from 6pm to 7:15pm. For complete details and parade route click Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade.

9. Brevard, NC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5th at 3pm in Downtown Brevard.

10. Chesnee, SC 2009 Christmas Parade- will take place on Sunday, Dec. 13th at 2pm. The parade goes down Main Street in Chesnee. Click Chesnee SC Christmas Parade.

11. Hendersonville, NC 2009 Christmas Parade- will be on Saturday, Dec. 5th at 10:30am. It will start at Main Street (Five Points to Caswell Street). For more information click Hendersonville & Flat Rock, NC.

12. Town of Fletcher, NC 2009 Christmas Parade– will take place on Dec. 12th at 10:30am. It will be at Hwy. 25 between Old Airport Rd. & Town Hall. For additional information, click Fletcher Christmas Parade.
