Resource for Abortion Regret and Guilt #1: Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries
One excellent resource for anyone who regrets her abortion is Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries. Their mission is about “healing the trauma of abortion – one weekend at a time.” They offer weekend retreats all over the US (and even the world) for women who dealing with abortion regret and trauma. It was founded by Dr. Theresa Burke. The weekend retreats are very affordable. They allow for a time of healing, learning how to forgive yourself. They even have services for men – see the website for more details. There are typically 12-15 participants in each group. Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries has helped thousands of women dealing with the pain of abortion.

Resource for Abortion Regret and Guilt #2: Local Pregnancy Crisis Center
Many pregnancy crisis centers offer services to women with post-abortion regret and guilt. Some provide support groups, group therapy, and individual counseling. Google your town/city’s name with “pregnancy crisis center” to find one near you. Just call and ask if they offer counseling to women dealing with post-abortion regret. If they don’t, they might be able to refer you to someone who does.

Another excellent resource for anyone dealing with abortion aftermath is to find a Christian Counselor. If you visit the website www.abortionrecovery.org, you will find a “care directory” of counselors who provide post-abortion counseling service.

Resource for Abortion Regret and Guilt #5: A Local Church
Another resource to help you in your recovery is a local church. A minister can counsel you privately, if you feel comfortable with that.
