I love so many Hunt’s food products and recently, I came across Hunt’s Lemon Snack Pack Pudding in the un refrigerated pudding section of my local grocery store. I do enjoy lemon pudding. I decided to purchase this pudding snack, try it and write a product review about my experience. Here is what I discovered!
The first thing that I discovered about Hunt’s Lemon Snack Pack Pudding was that it is very affordable and budget friendly! I got four individual pudding cups for one dollar. That was a deal. This pudding needs no refrigeration and I liked that! I can take it with me and not worry about keeping it cold. This product also has no preservatives. It is flavored with natural lemon flavor. Very good to know. Each individual pudding cup has an easy peel off top. They are also each dated for freshness with a “use by” date which ensures food safety.
When I tried Hunt’s Lemon Snack Pack Pudding, I was surprised. It had an okay lemon flavor and it was tart along with a sweet taste. Still, the lemon flavor did not quite live up to my high expectations. I am used to Hunt’s snack pack puddings being delicious and this one was not. I feel it can be improved greatly. Be sure and stir this pudding well before eating. That helps the consistency. After stirring, it is creamy and rich. Something was missing, though. I have tried the Hunt’s lemon meringue pudding version of this product and it was wonderful. I rate Hunt’s Lemon Snack Pack Pudding three stars out of five stars. It is okay but, not my favorite product by this company, for sure. If you are craving lemon pudding, it will do. Barely.
One lemon pudding cup has one hundred and twenty calories. Only twenty-five of these calories come from fat. This pudding has only two and one half grams of total fat, one and one half gram of saturated fat, zero grams of trans fat, cholesterol free, sixty-five mg’s of sodium, twenty-five grams of total carbs, zero grams of dietary fiber, twenty grams of sugars and zero grams of protein. For me, this was a “satisfy my lemon craving” snack. I probably will not be buying this pudding again. On a good note, it is priced right and easy to eat. You can pack this product in a bag or box lunch easily. Though this pudding is not refrigerated, I do like it served chilled. That helps the flavor a bit. In my opinion. It is a cholesterol free and low fat pudding snack choice or option.
Hunt’s snack pack puddings come in so many different flavors, it is hard to know which one is the best. For me, the chocolate fudge is the best flavor, followed by the banana cream pie flavor. Tapioca, triple chocolate flavors, lemon meringue pie and milk chocolate flavors are also very good! You can find Hunt’s Lemon Snack Pack Pudding in the un refrigerated pudding section of most super markets. I discovered that it is not my favorite product, that is for sure. Even though it did disappoint me some, it was worth a try. I still have three cups left and they may be around here a while. Oh well.
