I love many flavors and brands of cold cereal. The Kellogg’s company is well known for it’s wonderfully popular cereals. Recently, I spotted a box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes in the cereal section of my local grocery store. One of my relatives had recently been telling me how she had chosen to change back to this classic cereal favorite. I decided to purchase a box, try it out and write a product review all about it. Here is what I discovered!
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. I could barely even remember eating this cereal, it had been so long ago. This cereal is priced reasonably and I purchased a 12-ounce box for around four dollars. There are twelve servings in each box. That is affordable and it is a decent bargain, especially for a high quality name brand cereal. This cereal has a cool advertising statement on the front of this cereal’s box. It states “The original & best” and that sounded great to me. When a product is good, why mess with it? This cereal has been a classic favorite cereal of many for quite a long time!
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes advertises that it has 100 calories per serving, no fat, low sodium, low sugar and lots of vitamins and minerals in it. That is great! This is a low cal cereal that can help you cut calories and fat from your breakfast menu and diet. When I tried Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, the good memories came flooding back. The large flakes are wonderful. I chose to cut up some fresh strawberries and add them to this cereal. That made this breakfast cereal fabulous. Lots of crunch and corn flavor. My relative said that the reason that she returned to this cereal was the large flakes. She was tired of small flakes in her cereal that crumbled down to mush. I can relate to that and appreciate her opinion. This cereal is hearty, filling and delicious. It’s yearly sales will testify to that!
I rate Kellogg’s Corn Flakes five stars out of five stars. It is the best corn flakes cereal, in my opinion. Kellogg’s makes some good products like Eggos, Rice Krispies, Special K, Froot Loops, Honey Smacks cereal and many varieties of crackers and cookies. Fantastic. This traditional classic cereal choice is a winner and I salute it here, in my article. It is a leader among cereals, that is for certain. I discovered that this is a fat free and cholesterol free cereal. Wonderful!
Nutritional facts, one serving, without milk, has one hundred calories, zero total grams of fat, zero grams of saturated fat, zero grams of trans fat, cholesterol free, two hundred mg’s of sodium, twenty-five mg’s of potassium, twenty-four grams of total carbs, one gram of dietary fiber, twenty-one grams of other carbs and two grams of protein. This cereal has vitamins A, C, D, B 6, B 12, calcium, iron, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and folic acid in it, also. This product does contain soybean ingredients in trace amounts.
I like this cereal and I enjoyed trying it and writing a product review about it. It gives me a different and healthy cold cereal alternative. I add fresh fruit like sliced bananas and slice strawberries to it and I love it. You can find this cereal in the cold cereal section of most grocery stores.
