Old El Paso Soft Taco Bake Dinner Kit is very affordable. I purchased this Mexican meal kit for around three dollars. I only have to add meat, chopped lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Along with sour cream just because I must have sour cream on my soft tacos. I was delighted to discover that this meal kit is America’s # 1 dinner kit. It sure caught my attention and it tempted me into trying it. I could not wait to try this product!
Old El Paso Soft Taco Bake Dinner Kit includes four flour tortillas, cheese sauce and seasoning mix. The preparation of this meal is easy, fast and so simple. You cook a few pounds of ground beef in a skillet, drain, stir in seasoning mix, water, heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, reduce heat to medium, cook for two to four minutes more, until water is absorbed. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a nine inch metal or glass pan, place one tortilla in it, spoon one half cup of beef onto it, spread evenly, repeat until all tortillas are gone and your last layer is beef mixture. Cut off the corner of cheese sauce pouch and squeeze it over the top, spreading evenly. Bake uncovered for about fifteen minutes. That’s it!
Add toppings like shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream. Cut and serve. Yum. I do believe the name of this Mexican meal kit is wrong. I say that because what you end up with is a Mexican Lasagna. Imagine that! Oh, it is good. Just don’t be expecting individual soft tacos. This product ain’t that. It is baked in layers. You cut and serve. This dish is delicious and very pleasing. It will get many “Ohs and Ahs” from your guests. Just be sure and cover the top with chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream. For picky guests, have these items on the side, at least.
I loved Old El Paso Soft Taco Bake Dinner Kit and I am going to give it a four and one half stars out of five stars rating. I will be buying this meal kit again. My only complaint is that it should be noted on the box that this is a dish, not an individual soft taco meal. It is assembled in layers and baked as such. My Mexican lasagna. That is what I call this dish. It is delicious, tasty, flavorful and has a wonderful Mexican food flavor. I enjoy and use many Old El Paso food products. They are tasty and high in quality. This product is, also.
I discovered that this a General Mills Cereals distributed product. That fact blew me away.
