AC Writer’s Showcase: A Look Back in Time – saul relative
A man who needs no introduction – most of you have seen or heard of saul with his 6 million plus page views! His name is everywhere on AC.
When I started here at AC saul was the second person I started bugging, you know – asking all those newbie questions! I asked him because he is a southerner and a Boston Celtic fan, and I felt an immediate kinship. Second, I had to know about the name. I flat out asked him if it was real.
Now here is a guy with, at that time, probably 3 million pv’s and he took the time to answer my questions and not just one word answers. He went into as much detail as he puts into his articles. He gave me lots of advice and I appreciate that very much. When I think of how many e-mails he must get it amazes me that he would take the time to answer me, old Abby Greenhill. Although he doesn’t always leave a comment – when he does it always a good one and usually makes me chuckle.
Saul is married with three children and, according to his bio, and is politically incorrect. He started with AC November 30, 2007 and as of right now (10/26/09) he has 6,782,370 page views, 2188 published content and 180 fans. He can crank out articles faster than I can hit “publish”. I truly believe he lives at the computer 24/7 with a direct link to a police scanner.
I have gone back in time to some of saul’s early articles. These are just a small sample of the various topics saul writes about. He goes from book reports – to political – to death/murder – to book reviews – and sports – at breakneck speed.
Here are some of saul’s very early works for your enjoyment:
Christmas Day— an Official Survivor’s Manual – this is from December 17, 2007 and you will see that saul truly does not hold back his feelings!
Book Review: the New Killer Diseases — Elinor Levy and Mark Fischetti – From January of 2008.
Brad Renfro Found Dead – Also in January of 2008 saul was working into his niche of star articles – either dead or alive. Now that I have dotted the I’s and crossed the t’s with saul’s Showcase, I will give you a link for one of my older articles – Stop the Insanity – commit a crime one day and go to your prom the next.
See you all next week, November 14, 2009 with another AC Writers Showcase: A Look Back in Time. You never know who will show up next! It could be you!
