Planning a Halloween party can get a little frustrating if you have to bounce from store to store to find things. Most of the all-inclusive kits are boring or contain thing s that you will never have a use for. Stunning Parties has created an eight person party pack just for Halloween. All of the items included in it are well done, of high quality and the cost per person breaks down to about $2.00. This specific party pack is designed for eight people; there are larger versions of it that contain place settings and items for 20, 40 and 75 people. The larger the party pack, the lower the price. You may be tempted to buy one of the larger sets but only do so if you have the need for that many plate, cups and napkins or have the space to store the left over items until next Halloween.
The Deluxe Bewitched Party Kit contains eight of the following items: Nine inch dinner plates, seven inch dessert plates, sixteen ounce plastic cups, and flatware sets (spoons, knives, forks). They all have the same common design on them; black cats, flying witches, spooky bats and tombstones. You also get sixteen full sized napkins, sixteen beverage napkins, twelve latex balloons (six orange, six black), “Happy Halloween” wall banner, four packages of streamer, curling ribbon and several packages of confetti. The table cover is large enough for most standard sized diningroom tables and has the same design as the plates, cups and napkins. Also included is a large plastic snack tray and invitations with colorful decorated envelopes.
I ordered this online a few years ago and was hoping to get it again this year but with themes and styles changing all the time I was worried that it would no longer be available. Thankfully it was and I was able to order it for $15.99 for the entire kit (plus $4.00 shipping). Even if I hit every sale at Party City I still wouldn’t be able to get everything that is included in this party pack for the same price. The designs are festive but completely appropriate for use with kids parties as there is nothing overly frightening about them. Some party kits have flimsy plastic flatware that snap or break; these are strong enough to handle hot foods as well as snacks and finger foods. The plates may need a little reinforcement if you are serving a dinner and people will be walking around but otherwise they are perfect for the occasion.
If you think that there will be more than eight people attending your party you can stretch out these items by purchasing plain black or orange dinner and dessert plates and black flatware; mix them in with the ones from the Deluxe Bewitched Party Kit and no one will be the wiser. For invitations, opt to email people if you don’t have enough for the party or pick up the phone and call them. All in all I am completely satisfied with this party kit; I ordered it early to avoid missing out on the chance to have it. While I probably could have saved a few dollars if I waited until mid October to buy it, even at the suggested retail price of $15.99 it was a complete steal.
