Anniversary Invitation Templates in Microsoft Publisher

by sawpan

If you are planning an anniversary party for someone, you can easily create and print invitations in Microsoft Publisher. This program will provide you with a couple of templates to choose from. You can then edit the anniversary invitation and change it to what you want. This tutorial will show you how to create anniversary invitations in Microsoft Publisher. You will need to open Microsoft Publisher and let it load. Then we will begin with this tutorial.

In your Publication Type panel, you will see the Invitation Cards category, click that category. Then you will see the different invitations in the middle panel. At the top of the middle panel, you will see Invitation Cards in big letters. Below that you will see the sub-categories. Look for the Celebration link and click it. The middle panel will then scroll to that particular sub-category. In that category, you will need to click the Anniversary template.

A preview of the template you chose will appear in the far right panel. Below the preview, you will need to drop the color scheme box down and select the color scheme you want to use. Then drop the font scheme box down and select the font scheme of your choice. A little further down the panel, you will see the page size box. Drop the page size box down and select the size page you want to use for these invitations. You can then change the layout of the card. If you do not understand what this option does, click the box and select an option. You will then see the changes to your anniversary invitation. Then you can browse through the options and select the one you want to use. When you are ready to edit the text, click the Create button at the bottom of that panel.

Now you can edit the text on the anniversary invitation. Anywhere there is a text field, you can edit. All you have to do is highlight the text and delete it. Then type what you want in the text field. If you need to edit the style, size, or color of the text, highlight the text and use your text options at the top of the window to make your changes.

If you chose a multiple page layout for the invitations, you will need to go through each page and edit the text. To navigate to the other pages, you will need to click the page numbers at the bottom of the invitation. These numbers are between your invitation and your taskbar. Clicking a number will take you to that particular page and you can edit the text on it.

When you are finished with all of the editing, go to the top of your program and click File > Save and save your anniversary invitation to your computer. Then click File > Print and print one copy of your anniversary invitation. If the invitation prints correctly, go ahead and print your other copies.
