There are many videos and thriller steps dance classes today. Sometimes, though, these can be an expensive way to learn thriller dance moves.
If you want to learn the thriller, or at least some of the thriller dance steps, you’ll find that several of the thriller dance moves are quite simple. Practice these basic thriller dance moves and you’ll be a thriller dance expert in no time!
1. For the easiest Thriller dance step, lift your hands above your heads and clap one time. Hop with both feet, and then, squat down and bring your hands to your knees. Repeat this series of thriller dance steps several times until you feel comfortable with the thriller dance moves.
2. Hold your right hand straight in front of your body, level with your chest. Your arm movement for this thriller dance step should begin with a slight shoulder shrug of the outreached arm. Turn your right hand slightly in a jerking motion. You should look almost like you are jerking a door knob open. As you make this motion with your arm, your head should “tick” to the right side, in rhythm with the arm movements of this Thriller dance step.
3. One of the most popular thriller dance steps: lift your right leg to about a 90 degree position, or as high as possible. The leg should be bent, and your arms should be bent with the hands almost “clawlike” and facing your lifted and bent leg. Then, step down on your right leg, and take a left step and another right step. This is the first half of the Thriller dance step.
Now, swivel on the right foot and lift the left leg to 90 degrees. Repeat the process of this thriller dance step on the left side before alternating again to the right side. Experiment with facial expressions so that you have the most terrifying or goofy looking face while you execute thriller dance moves.
4. One other easy Thriller dance step involves bending your knees with your legs wide apart. Lean over with your back arches and your hands on your knees. Every time you take a right step forward, you’ll move your right shoulder forward too. Same goes for the left side.
Working on these Thriller dance moves will give you a solid foundation for the style used in the more difficult Thriller dance moves. Practice these Thriller dance steps every chance you get so you can impress your friends at the next big Halloween dance party.
