Now that Casey is gone, Russell will be spending his mornings alone until Producers give out the wake up call. Today, Russell was up and making himself breakfast at 9:50 a.m. After he eats, he goes upstairs to his HOH room, sits in bed listening to music, then turns on the spy screen when Producers give the wake up call at 10:35 a.m.
Once everyone is up, Russell gives Jordan a tough time for putting Jeff’s name in the basket. Jeff is upset about it too. Russell told her that Jeff was shivering in the shower after making a deal to save her and she put his name in the basket.
Natalie and Jessie went up to the HOH to get in a nap after having to spend the night in the Have Nots room. Their nap does not last long because everyone is sent outside for a lockdown at 11:50 a.m.
Outside, Most of the houseguests sit or lay around on the couches. Jordan lays in the hammock while Jeff is cleaning the pool. Ronnie sits alone working himself up into a nervous fit. Russell and Jeff talk about the HOH Competition, both being very sore still.
When everyone goes inside at 12:45 p.m., the Have Nots find out they will be eating Squash and Squid. Natalie is okay with it because she has a slop pass. Kevin is trying to clean the squid. Michele wants to clean up the squid juice. Ronnie is talking about throwing up. Kevin decides to throw the squid into the garbage.
Jeff and Russell are talking alone in the HOH room. Russell wants Ronnie out. He is mad that Ronnie swore to God and on the Bible and lied. He does not think Ronnie deserves to be in the house. Russell says Ronnie will give you information if you work his ego, but Jeff says it is all lies, regardless. Russell told Jeff he wants to partner up with Jeff, that no one would suspect it and nobody could beat them.
Jessie goes in to talk to Russell with Jeff there. Russell lets Jessie know that everyone wants Ronnie to leave. Jessie is not happy about how anything is going for him these past twenty-four hours. He leaves, then Jeff and Russell talk about how bad Jessie’s attitude is. Jeff says that how a person acts in their low times determines their true personality.
Russell wants to put either Lydia or Kevin up with Ronnie and wants Jeff’s input. They both agree Kevin is smart and listens to everyone, thus knows a lot about what is really going on in the house.
Ronnie is waiting outside the HOH door for Jeff to leave so he can talk to Russell alone. Jeff walks out and Ronnie immediately begins trash talking Jeff and Jordan to Russell. Ronnie says Jeff and Jordan told him to put Russell up when he (Ronnie) was HOH. Russell wanted to know what Ronnie’s deal with Kevin and Lydia is. Russell wants to know why Ronnie is suddenly so friendly with them. Ronnie tells him he does not have an alliance with them. Russell asked Ronnie about the bad things Ronnie had been saying about Casey. Ronnie explains that he and his wife are the same people at night as they are during the day with the kids. Casey is not. Ronnie says Casey uses dirty words, judges bikini contests and goes to strip clubs. Ronnie changes the subject to Lydia and tries to convince Russell to nominate Lydia. Russell tells Ronnie he is safe this week.
Meanwhile, Kevin is still throwing away all of the squid. He is wearing yellow rubber gloves! Jeff tries to rescue the squash and takes it outside to wash it off. Kevin had been throwing it away too.
When Ronnie leaves the HOH, Michele comes in. Michele lets Russell know she has his back and would never lie to him. She says Kevin makes things up and is always asking her who she would put up. Both Michele and Russell believe Kevin and Lydia threw the HOH Competition. Michele tells Russell she wants Lydia and Kevin up, but wants Kevin gone. Russell does not like the way Lydia and Kevin are coasting along, not trying to win anything. When Russell asked for Michele’s opinion of Ronnie, she tells him that Ronnie is not nice and is a huge manipulator. Russell says he does not believe anything Ronnie tells him. Russell asked her if he put Ronnie and Lydia up, who would she send home. Michele said Ronnie.
Michele is talking about how she felt bullied into an alliance with Jessie, Natalie, Ronnie and Chima. Michele then leaves the room and Kevin enters. Downstairs, Ronnie is apologizing to Jordan for throwing her and Jeff under the bus because she had compassion for him and kept him off slop this week. Ronnie neglects to mention that he was just upstairs throwing her and Jeff under the bus again.
Kevin keep avoiding Russell’s questions and never tells him who he would like to see nominated. Kevin says the only person he is aligned with is Lydia. Russell tells Kevin that Ronnie has been throwing him under the bus. Kevin tells Russell he does not trust Ronnie and he does not like to talk to him since he is afraid whatever he says will get spun around.
Jordan comes into the room for a minute to tell Russell about Ronnie’s apology. She says he used “Big words” and she does not believe any of it. Russell asks for a deal with Kevin, that if he does not put him up, Kevin will not put him up if he wins HOH. They shake hands, then Russell tells him that because he was honest about the conversation in the pool room, Kevin saved himself from nomination.
When Jordan and Russell are alone in the HOH room, Russell tells her about the deal he made with Jeff to win the HOH and how he will honor it. Russell tells her he wants Ronnie out and before the Jury house so he cannot continue to play the game there and make sure they could not win. Russell says Ronnie needs to go this week. Russell is worried that Ronnie will win the mystery power because Russell was bullying him and they will feel sorry for him.
Ronnie and Lydia are elsewhere talking about how it is not worth it to get scars and bruises just to win a competition. They both believe they are the ones to be nominated. Ronnie does his usual spiel about not lying in the house. This time he goes further and says he is the same person outside as he is inside the house.
Lydia goes upstairs to talk to Russell. Jordan asks if she should leave, but they tell her she can stay. Lydia says it does not matter because she knows she will probably be nominated. Lydia said the gossip is that Russell is putting Lydia and Kevin both up. She tells him that does not make sense, as they are both weak players and he should put one strong player up. Jordan decides to leave. After Jordan leaves, Lydia tells him that his clique said they wanted to get rid of him as soon as the cliques were gone. Because she got to see a softer side of him when he got his family photos and letters, Lydia says Russell is now a “sweet and lovey person.”
Russell asks Lydia who of Jessie, Chima and Natalie would she want to go. Of course, she said Natalie. After questioning her, Russell begins to believe Lydia has a deal with Jessie. While they are talking about Natalie, Ronnie barges into the room to weigh himself. He weighs 175 pounds.
When Ronnie leaves, they talk about the mystery power and then Russell tells Lydia his sister hid a message in her letter. Russell says he cannot trust Jessie and Natalie. Lydia tells him they will only be someone’s friend if it will benefit them. They talk about Russell’s family and other general life topics. Russell says he would never have sex on television because it would have an effect on your life and job outside in the real world. Russell wonders aloud whether Jessie, Natalie and Chima have a secret alliance. At the mention of Natalie, Lydia goes off talking about her. She says Natalie is into Jessie and keeps making sexual references towards Jessie. She thinks Natalie’s relationship at home is over with the way she is acting in the house. Lydia does not believe Ronnie will win the mystery power, but says Ronnie wants everyone to believe he has it so he can manipulate them.
When Lydia leaves, Russell sees Jessie heading upstairs, so he pretends to sleep. Natalie and Chima follow Jessie upstairs. Russell lets them in. All three of them work on Russell, but throwing Lydia under the bus. Natalie says Lydia will do anything to stay in the game, including using her body. Chima calls Lydia bipolar. Russell tells them that for five minutes he believed Lydia that the three of them wanted him out. Ronnie interrupts and says Lydia came to him to say she believes he and she will be going up.
Jessie complains about being a Have Not and the way Jordan picked them. He says keeping the Brains Clique out of the hat was a “cop out.” They all talk about how Jordan does not have the personality to win this game. While in the room talking, Ronnie ate all the rest of Russell’s candy. Because Ronnie has studied all the previous seasons, he pushes the fact that he knows what games to expect in the game, thus he is an asset to their team and needs to stay for their benefit. Russell is called to the Diary Room, so nominations are coming.
When Russell leaves, Natalie and Jessie move into the HOH bed and Natalie starts telling Jessie again how he should not be talking to Lydia because she cannot be trusted. She tells him that if she sees him talking to Lydia again, she will flip out on him. Jessie tries to tell her Lydia is on their side and for her to just chill out. Jessie and Natalie believe they are the focus of the televised show. They talk about who is probably helping them with the votes for America’s Choice. Natalie keeps bringing up Lydia and threatening Jessie if he talks to her again.
At 5:10 pm, the outdoor lock down for nominations begins. Outside, the houseguests are talking about how much it costs the network for all the curse words used during the live shows and other things along those lines. Producers interrupt their conversation, ask them to be quiet and sit up straight so they can get some good footage.
Eight minutes later, the Nomination Ceremony takes place. When the live feeds come back over an hour later, we learn that Lydia and Ronnie have been nominated. Everyone is talking about how Russell called Ronnie out during the Nomination Ceremony, letting him know he personally overheard the conversation between Ronnie, Lydia and Kevin and that Ronnie lied to his face about what was said.
Lydia tells Kevin she does not have the votes to stay because Natalie, Michele, Jessie and Chima will vote to keep Ronnie. Kevin encourages her and tells her it all about the POV now.
In another room, Russell is laughing about the Nomination Ceremony and how Natalie reacted when her key was pulled last. He also tells them that Producers made him put the keys in a second time because he was laughing the whole time he put them in at first. Chima begins defending Ronnie saying Ronnie says he never said what Russell says he said. Russell tells her he heard it because he and Casey were standing outside the door listening.
In desperation, Jessie decides to try to make something out of the squid and Jeff helps him.
Chima and Natalie talk in the Storage Room, talking about how they will not use the Veto to save Ronnie if they win it because of whom Russell might put up instead of Ronnie. They both want to win regardless, so they are safe. Russell comes into the room and they tell him they were just talking about the POV. Ronnie walks into the room and the other three leave.
Since the Nomination Ceremony, Ronnie has been sulking alone in his room. While he is in the Diary Room, everyone laughs about him trying so hard to get the mystery power and is probably begging Producers for it.
Jeff and Jordan congratulate Russell on his Nomination speech.
Jessie and Natalie are talking in the green room and Jessie thinks they should just cut their losses and vote Ronnie out this week. Then Jessie and Natalie start talking to the cameras, asking for votes for them to win the mystery power. Producers warn Jessie and Natalie that they cannot sleep in that room.
At 8:10 p.m., the house is put on an indoor lockdown. Lydia goes up to talk to Russell in the HOH room. Lydia is trying to convince him to put up Natalie or Jessie after the Veto. Russell tells Lydia she is safe, he wants Ronnie out. He tells her Jeff and Jordan will vote Ronnie out and Jessie and Natalie want Ronnie to stay, but they would not vote against his wishes. Russell lets Lydia know how much he appreciates the fact that she is not mad at him for nominating her.
Russell tells Lydia how destructive it would be for all of them if Ronnie made it to the Jury House. He, she, Kevin and Michele would have no chance to win the game. Russell coaches Lydia on how to stay safe. He says Ronnie will go from room to room talking to people and she needs to go in immediately after he leaves and talk to the people he just talked to.
Downstairs, Ronnie is still trying to convince people that America is going to vote for him. He says whomever is edited as being the underdog is the person who will win the mystery power.
Jessie and Natalie have fallen asleep in the green room. The lockdown is over at 9:00 p.m.
Ronnie asks Michele if he can talk to her and she says she will talk to him, but knows he is going to lie. Ronnie goes inside and sits alone in his room again. Ronnie sees Chima and corners her just as she is going into the shower. He tells her they will talk later, but that Russell is lying to try to break their alliance apart.
When Jessie and Natalie wake up in the green room, Russell comes in to make sure they know he wants Ronnie out and is certain nobody will go against him this week. When Russell walks out, Jessie whispers to Natalie that they have to work hard on Michele to get her vote.
Everyone is getting paranoid about the mystery power and as each person is called into the Diary Room, everyone else is certain that person is being told they won the power.
Ronnie tries to talk to Michele and tells her he has no deals in this game. She tells him his version of “No deals is just semantics,” and Ronnie admits he does have deals concerning who to put up or not to put up, but he has no deals for the final two. Michele is getting annoyed. Ronnie tells her that it is him, Jessie, Natalie and Chima, and now Michele because they know they can trust her. They cannot trust Russell anymore. Ronnie swears on his life that if Michele is his replacement nominee, she will be safe. Michele is not buying into anything Ronnie says, but he keeps trying. He tells her that because Russell nominated him, he will be going home next week.
While Ronnie is fighting a losing battle trying to win over Michele, Chima is telling Russell, that she will vote however he wants this week. She wants to know why he wants Ronnie to leave this week. He tells her how much Ronnie has lied and how often he has caught him in those lies. Russell gives Chima a tough time for defending Ronnie. She says she is just playing “Devil’s Advocate.” She tells him that if Lydia were to win HOH, she would put him up. He says Ronnie would as well. Chima is getting Russell upset because of the things she is saying. She says Ronnie is a good person and when Russell disagrees, she asks if Lydia gave him oral sex. He is not amused.
Chima talks about Braden and how she does not really believe he is racist, but took that opportunity to blow things up in her favor. Russell asks her if she realized she could have ended his professional career by labeling him a racist. Chima gets defensive and says she did not ruin anything. When she circles the questions Russell throws her way, he asks her if she is a politician. Chima brings up that she called Russell a terrorist earlier today and she did not mean that. Producers interrupted the feeds immediately after she made that comment to address it and stop the conversation from going that route.
Elsewhere, Jeff, Jordan, Michele and Kevin are talking about the mystery power and Jeff is going crazy thinking about it – what it could be and who could have it.
Chima just told Russell she worked for a CBS news channel in Illinois.
Jessie is actually eating the squid now. Chima and Russell are watching him do this from the spy screen. Chima feels sorry for him. Their conversation had been about how Chima plans to do a full background check on her future husband to make sure he is not gay or has a secret life.
Jeff and Jordan are talking about Casey and how much they miss him. They love it that he told Natalie to go make Jessie a sandwich. Jeff tells Jordan how Jessie came up to him immediately after the HOH Competition and told him not to worry because he is safe. Jeff goes off about the nerve Jessie had in saying something like that when it was Jeff’s own doing that made him safe this week. Jordan worries that America might give the mystery power to Jessie. Jeff does not think so, but he says it would be bad for them if Natalie, Jessie or Chima got it.
Jessie is still eating his squid. He has squash on his plate too, a gallon of water and a jar of pickles. After a lot of silence, he starts complaining about being a Have Not and that the squid is too chewy.
Chima and Russell are still laying in the HOH bed talking. They laugh at the idea of Jordan winning the mystery power and losing it because she will tell Jeff.
Jessie sneaks into the green room to tell Ronnie that he and Natalie cannot be seen talking to him and there is nothing they can do to save him. Ronnie honestly believes he has Michele’s vote and believes he is safe.
Ronnie caught Natalie alone and whispered to her quickly that he has Michele’s vote, but Natalie tells him they will not vote to keep him if he does not have the votes.
Kevin talks to Natalie alone and tells her he will not vote out Lydia and expects Natalie would never vote out Jessie if the roles were reversed. He told her he is asking everyone who has any questions, to come to him directly, that too many stories are told in the house. Kevin tells Natalie about the conversation Russell overheard. Natalie wants to know if Ronnie said anything bad about her or Jessie and Kevin tells her he honestly cannot remember, but that Ronnie stirs things up and does not always say things directly. Kevin admits to saying that Jessie and Natalie were the King and Queen of the house, but he never said Natalie was a target. He tells her he would rather Jessie go than she. He complains that Jessie is distant and does not even know him. Jessie walks into the room and Kevin explains that he was talking to Natalie alone because she is her own person, but goes on to tell Jessie everything he just told her. After Jessie leaves the room, Kevin and Natalie continue their talk. Natalie refuses to say how she will vote until after the POV. She explains that if Ronnie were to win the Veto, and word got back to him that she was going to vote him out, it would backfire on her, thus she will not talk about the vote until after the POV.
Jessie goes upstairs to talk to Russell and tells him Kevin and Jeff have just been skating through the game. Russell plays along. Natalie comes in and says “I just got cornered by Kevin.” She says Kevin is loyal to Lydia, but will not be coming after her personally. Russell tells them they should not be sticking their necks out trying to protect Ronnie. Russell has locked Chima out of the room and the three of them laugh as they watch her on the spy cam, getting all upset. He does let her in after they have their laugh. Jessie is complaining about being on slop again, then he complains about the questions Julie Chen asked him. Natalie gets upset because Jessie refused to answer Julie’s questions and should have said Natalie’s name.
Russell gets fed up with Chima pushing for Lydia to go and goes off on her about how both Lydia and Ronnie want him out, but how much Ronnie has lied to him face to face and he wants him out now.
Elsewhere, Ronnie has cornered Michele and tells her the Diary Room is sick of him asking if he won the power. Ronnie tells her he hopes whoever wins the power is someone who would actually know how to use it. Michele asks Ronnie to pick her to play the POV if he gets “Houseguest’s Choice.”
Jeff and Jordan are out in the hammock talking about them winning the mystery power and if it was geared towards them to help them out.
In the HOH room, Jessie, Chima and Russell are talking about how it will be Jeff or Jordan who win the mystery power because they have been “getting the short end of the stick” the whole game. They talk about past houseguests and who they liked in the game. When Chima says she liked Renny, Jessie said she would never have gotten along with her. The three of them start trash talking the viewing public, even going as far as saying if Jeff or Jordan get the power, they will vote to evict America.
Jessie leaves the HOH and works with Natalie to get Michele’s vote. Michele does not give them an indication of where she is at, except to say she does not believe or trust Ronnie.
Chima finally leaves the HOH room at 3:15 a.m. and Russell goes to sleep. Everyone else is still awake. Forty-five minutes later, Jeff, Jordan and Michele all decide to go to bed.
Jessie, Natalie and Chima hang out in the bathroom plotting how they will get control of the house back next week. Jessie keeps acting as if Ronnie will still be there and they all think Michele is with them. Jessie thinks Russell wants Ronnie out so Jessie will be drawn closer to him. Chima says Russell’s nomination speech was mean-spirited. Natalie says Ronnie was almost crying and she encouraged him and told him it was just a game, then three hours later, he thanked her for talking to him. Jessie said “What if he is playing us all?” Natalie says “But, he isn’t.”
Jessie keeps saying Russell has no power next week, but Chima keeps telling him that Russell will have influence. They decide they need a guarantee from Michele that she is voting with them before they can risk voting for Ronnie to stay. Natalie gets something to snack on and Jessie goes into a fit of complaining about one thing after another. Someone used his toothpaste, his neck hurts and he is on slop.
Kevin gets up because he is sore from trying to sleep in the Have Not room. He lays on the couch in the bathroom and hangs out with the rest of them. Jessie and Natalie get to bed shortly after Kevin gets up. They lay in bed and talk for awhile. Chima and Kevin stay up talking and they talk about everything and anything for two hours and finally head to be at 6:40 a.m.
