Brain Toot is a brain exercise game created by Vertical Moon Inc and was released on October 22, 2008. The game is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch and can be purchase at the iTunes store for a mere $0.99. The game requires OS 2.0 or later to work. There is also a sample version of the game called Brain Toot Lite that features only 4 of the games but can be downloaded for free.
Brain Toot features 16 brain training games that workout memory, math skills, visual ability, and thinking power. There are three different modes of play:
-Users can go through an entire Brain Test that will give an idea of how each brain game works, then get scored on how well each game was completed.
-Quick Play gives the option of picking a single game to play for practice drills.
-Time Challenge works similar to Brain Test except users are given a set time before the whole workout is over. Time is added when completing individual exercise games.
Brain Toot is highly recommended for those interested in keeping their minds at tip-top shape. It’s a fun and interactive way to keep your mind active.
I suggest trying out Brain Toot Lite for free. Play the four games that are available on there in each of the available modes. Then, if you enjoy that and want more, you can go ahead and purchase the full version of Brain Toot.
If after that you wish to play more Brain Toot games, there is a Brain Toot 2 that was released January 22, 2009 that can be purchased at the iTunes store for $0.99. Brain Toot 2 features 16 new brain exercise games that are not available to the first version of Brain Toot. If you’re unsure about which version to buy, you can always try out the free Brain Toot 2 Lite version to see if you enjoy the games on there. Brain Toot 2 Lite will only allow users to play four of the 16 games available to the full version.
Personally, I find the games on Brain Toot 2 more interesting and overall more challenging than the gamers in Brain Toot. In both versions, players can compete in a global competition and compare brain fitness levels. If you don’t wish to compete on a global level, then you can compete with your friends. Both versions allow for more than one profile to be created, so scores can be compared between multiple profiles. Use this feature to compete with your friends and see who has the more fit brain.
Like most other iPhone and iPod Touch game applications, Brain Toot and Brain Toot 2 are great when you’re waiting in line for something or stuck on the bus with nothing to do. Next time you find yourself unoccupied, whip out your device and give your mind a good workout. Keep up your workout routine everyday, and your brain will thank you in the long run.
