This past summer the Charlotte Bobcats acquired center Tyson Chandler from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for Emeka Okafor. Chandler will give the 2009-2010 Charlotte Bobcats an athletic big man who can run the floor, rebound, and block shots. Without a true post presence on the offensive end the Bobcats will play at a faster pace to generate more scoring opportunities. When they are unable to score quickly they will use the penetration of DJ Augustin, the slashing of Gerald Wallace, and the passing skills of Boris Diaw as the foundation of their half-court offense. Although the Bobcats will pick up the pace offensively they will continue to play good defense and make every opponent earn everything they get.
