Crooked Creek Cycle Park, located at 4730 T.K. Parkway, Axtell, Texas, is only 15 minutes North East of Waco, Texas. This park is a private park that is only open to the public certain days of each month and is only open to motorcycles, all terrain vehicles or atvs, mountain bikes or horses. There is no side-by-side off highway vehicles or ohvs as well as dune buggies or automobiles allowed on the track or on any of the trails.
The general public is welcome to ride at Crooked Creek Cycle Park on each 1st and 3rd Saturday weekends of the month, weather permitting. It is recommended that interested riders call before they haul as plans do change.
Crooked Creek Cycle Park is 502 acres where riders will find wood, fields and creeks to try their skill of riding in. There is also parking, grills, fire pits, tables and a restroom on the property. Camping is permitted in the parking area Saturday night, but there are no hook-ups available at this time.
The rules that riders should be aware of include riding on the trails and tracks only, no trail blazing and travel the correct direction on the trails and tracks as they are one way. Riders should also be aware that loud bikes and ATVs are not allowed in the park and dune buggies, side-by-sides, jeeps, SUVs or any other automobile are not allowed on any trail or track. Loud music or loud noise has to be tuned down before 10 pm and there is no riding after dark or before 8 in the morning.
Riders who visit Crooked Creek Cycle Park will find nine trails to travel and they will have access to 2 tracks. But, ATVs are not allowed on all the trails and tracks, so riders should be aware of this and follow the rules. However, on five of the trails ATVs can be ridden. These five are the Easy Rider Trail, Bertha Trail, Bonehead Trail, Lost in the Woods Trail and the Hog Wild Trail. The two tracks on the property are either a 2 jump TT track or a junior size MX track.
To get to Crooked Creek Cycle Park from Hillsboro, take Highway 171 to Hubbard, Texas. In Hubbard, Texas, turn right at the first red light on Highway 31 West, heading toward Waco, Texas. Travel down Highway 31 to FM 939 and take a left. The entrance to Crooked Creek Cycle Park, which is a white gateway with a sign that says Crooked Creek, is on the left, right past Happy Swaner Road.
If you are heading to Crooked Creek Cycle Park from Waco, Texas, travel down I-35 North to Highway 84. Travel east on Highway 84 to Highway 31 and remain on Highway 31 to FM 939, where you will take a right. The entrance to Crooked Creek Cycle Park, which is a white gateway with a sign that says Crooked Creek, is on the left, right past Happy Swaner Road.
