Making holiday crafts with kids is a wonderful activity to do throughout the holiday season counting down to Christmas. A Nativity refers to the birth of Jesus, and a Christmas craft involving baby Jesus’ birth will typically include some or all of the following aspects: Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a manger, a star (from the East), a shepherd, three wise men bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and an angel.

Holy Family Picture Craft
This is a relatively easy craft that be done with children, using Popsicle sticks to create the stable where Mary gave birth to baby Jesus. Children color a picture of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus lying in the manger to place in the stable. This would be an excellent easy preschool craft.
