Medina County offers the best in wholesome family fun for Halloween. Area agencies, churches, the park system and the library all have some great events planned. Head out and show your support while having fun with the family. Many of these events are free, all are geared toward the family, generally the under 12 crowd, although some will appeal to older children as well.
Brunswick Hills Fire Department and the Medina County Park district are putting on a Halloween Bonfire for the community. Hayrides, star gazing, story telling and face painting. Dress up!

Medina Rec Halloween Monster Bash will be nothing but awesome! Haunted House, crafts, games, inflatables and a costume contest sponsored by The Gazette. Carnival games with cool prizes to win.

Area churches will also be hosting holiday alternatives such as Trunk-or-Treat at Key to My Father’s House in Wadsworth. Trunks full of candy treats and toys, bring your pillowcase! Hayrides, a bonfire, raffle prizes and food.

Head out to the Halloween Hullabaloo at the Wolf Creek Environmental Center. Little ones will love celebrating Halloween at the park. Dress up in costume and take a short hike, play games, drink spider and more.

Another great event for all children 12 and younger is the upcoming, BYF Community Halloween Party at the Medina High School Stadium. Medina Bees Youth Football will be hosting this party full of games, contests; pumpkin carving and all kids receive a special treat bag.

The Medina County District Library will be hosting some fun events, as always. The library is so much more than books. Bring your kids for Harvest parties, holiday themed story times and crafts.
The Seville Branch is putting on a Harvest celebration full of fun activities. Face painting and pumpkin painting with a contest. Make apple prints and pine cone bird feeders. Music by Craig Staufer, cookies, cider and popcorn. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Saturday October 3rd
A Halloween Fashion Show at the Medina Library, on Tuesday October 27th. 6:30 pm. Watch the kids walk the runway, don’t forget to bring your camera. And then come back Thursday night for Pumpkin Decorating, October 29th at 6:30, Gourdeous Pumpkins, supplies and stories provided, bring your family and a pumpkin.
