This arrest will give the police some leverage to interrogate Hank about Haleigh’s disappearance. Hank Croslin Sr. had visited three different doctors to obtain over 300 pills; Hydrocodone and Oxycodone. Hydrocodone is a pain pill and Oxycodone is used to help cancer patients. Oxycodone has a high street value. It is not known if Croslin has a drug addiction or if he was planning to sell the drugs.
Misty recently removed a protective order that she had against her brother, Hank “Tommy” Croslin, and moved back in with her parents a few days ago. It’s obvious the Croslin’s are a very dysfunctional family with a lot of drugs and other criminal activities. It’s just a matter of time before one of them will feel the pressure and give any information they may know about the night of Haleigh’s disappearance.
Tommy gave the police some information about the night Haleigh disappeared when he was recently incarcerated. Police started interrogating him and he eventually told them that he had went to Misty & Ronald’s home on the night Haleigh disappeared. He stated that he was banging on the door and no-one would answer the door. Misty has claimed that she was exhausted from the day and didn’t hear anything. Whether the information that he provided is truthful is not known. If this is true, why would he wait so long to come forward with this information? By giving the information it lowered his bail enough that he could bond out. Hank Croslin is currently in jail on the charges from the “doctor shopping”. His bond is set at $7500. Tommy and his mother, Lisa, have bonded out.
A week earlier Tommy and his father had been in a fist fight. Just prior to that, Tommy had taken his son to the bus stop and fell asleep in his car. When police searched his car they found drugs in the car. Tommy and his mother have also both been arrested for stealing from a neighbor.
Misty has managed to stay in the news as well. She was roughed up when she was attempting to purchase some drugs. She called 911 and was very emotional on that call. Her emotions on that call sounded like someone who was truly scared and worried. She had much more emotion than what was heard when she reported Haleigh missing.
The adorable 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings was reported missing on February 10, 2009. Misty was the last person to see her and has a lot of discrepancies in her stories. As Judge Judy would say “If it doesn’t make sense, it isn’t true” and Misty has some stories that make no sense at all. One of many is the way she described how she looked for Haleigh when she realized she wasn’t in her bed. She said she looked under the beds, but the beds are directly on the floor, she would have to lift the mattress up off of the floor. The first reaction most people would have when they realize a child is missing would be to grab the phone and call 911. Misty Croslin waited 20 – 25 minutes for Haleigh’s father to come home.
There is a lot of drugs and criminal activity in this family. There was a letter that was given to police from one of Misty’s friends. In this letter, she tells the police that the weekend prior to Haleigh missing, Misty had attended a party, taking Haleigh with her, where drugs were all around and a child was tossed into a pond by someone at the party. The allegations have not been verified and there was no evidence. The girl who wrote the letter has now moved in with Misty and her parents. And the saga continues…
