Homemade Bath Salt Recipes

by saw pan

Pamper yourself with these easy homemade bath salts, or make them up to give as gifts. Simply put them in decorative glass jars and tie a ribbon around them and they will look they came from an expensive spa!

To make bath salts, combine all ingredients in a sealed container and shake vigorously to combine. You can add more or less essential oils according to preference. You can also add more or less food coloring depending on preference. Remember that both fragrance and color will be diluted when added to the bath. You can also create your own bath salt recipes by combining Epson salts with a little sea salt, your favorite essential oils, and a few drops of food coloring. If you like, you can add a few tablespoons of baking soda to give the water a silky feel.
