In this tutorial, I will show you how to buttonize your photo using Zoner Photo Studio 11. Buttonize is also known as beveling. Using the buttonize option will give your photo a bevel effect. Open your Zoner Photo Studio program and open the photo you want to buttonize. Then we will get started with this tutorial.
Step 1 – Opening Your Editor Window
Your first step is to open your editor window. You should have already selected the photo you want to apply the buttonize too. If you haven’t, go ahead and select it. Then go to the top of your window and click the Editor icon. That will open the photo you selected in a new window.
Step 2 – Applying the Buttonize to Your Photo in Zoner Photo Studio 11
With your photo open in the new window, go to the top of your window and click the Effects button. When the menu drops down, find the 3D Button option and click it. That will open the settings for the Buttonize option.
Step 3 – Changing Your Settings for the Buttonize Option in Zoner Photo Studio 11
The next step is to change your settings in the box that opened. I will walk you through the settings.
Width & Height – This will change the width and the height of the buttonize effect. Adjust these bars to what you want. You can see the changes to the photo as you are making them.
Transparency – This will determine how dark the border will be. You can adjust this bar to where you want it.
Color – This determines the color of the border. Click the color box and select the color of your choice.
Light – There is a light automatically applied to the top left corner of your border. If you want to change the position of the light, click another corner on the four corner box.
Once you have finished with these settings and satisfied with the buttonize effect, click the OK button on the box. If you need to make changes to the buttonize effect, go to the top of your window and click Effects > 3D Button and the properties box will open again. From there you can make your changes.
Step 4 – Saving Your Buttonize Photo in Zoner Photo Studio 11
Your last step is to save the photo. Before you can close the window, you will have to save the photo you just edited. If you do not save it, you will lose the buttonize effect. So, go to the top of Zoner Photo Studio 11 and click File > Save As and save your file. Then you can close the window and return to your main window of Zoner Photo Studio 11.
