The biggest mistake when it comes to makeup is trying to use it to change how you look, and that’s where most of the mistakes can happen, trying to make your eyes or lips look bigger usually fails and only makes you look like you never learned how to apply it properly. Makeup is supposed to enhance your natural looks, not make you look like a model in a magazine, who, by the way, only looks good in those specialty camera lights with a fair amount photo retouching. Learning how to fix the top mistakes made can free you from bad face days.
Two big mistakes women make with this wrong color or too much. You won’t look tan by getting a tan foundation it will make you look dirty and if it’s too light you will look like a vampire it’s important to find the right color for the skin color you have not the skin color you want. Find the correct color by testing it out on your neck or jaw line and blend it in, it’s the right color if you can’t see it. Always blend your foundation in and apply it to your neck also.
Too much Lip Liner
It’s not supposed to be worn alone, it should be the same color as the lipstick you wear or a neutral light color and it should not be used to make your lips bigger. Apply it by drawing the line on your natural lip line and filling it all in with the liner to keep the lipstick on or filling it in with just the lipstick.
Wrong Brow color
Maybe you over plucked, but drawing on your eyebrows in a color that is very different from your hair color never looks right. Use a brow powder in the closest shade to your hair and fill in spots using an angled brow brush.
The spider lashes. Mascara should make your lashes look naturally thick and long. Two coats of mascara max any more and your lashes will be spiky and unnatural. wipe clumps of the mascara wand before applying it and comb through lashes with a lash comb or a clean mascara wand.
Too much blush
You can end up looking like a clown. Don’t apply it in perfect circles. Find the right color by choosing one that matches your natural lip color. Powder looks the most natural. Apply it by using a large full blush brush, not the one that comes with it, and sweep it across the apples of your cheeks. For the most natural look apply it before your foundation.
This isn’t always from too much black eye make-up around you eyes it can also happen by eye make-up melting off or rubbing your eyes too much. Always line your eyes as close to the lash line as possible and blend it in, don’t use a liner that is too dark for you, one shade darker than your hair is the rule of thumb here. So if you have light blonde hair go with a light brown liner, black liner is for those with dark brown or black hair. Never apply eyeshadow all the way up to your eyebrows, keep it to the eyelids.
