Hair is a person’s crowning glory. Beautiful, shiny and healthy hair changes a person’s aura. Maintaining healthy hair means that a person knows how to take good care of one’s body. It’s unpleasant for a woman to have dry hair with split ends. Here are a few tips to obtain clean, shiny and healthy hair.
Air dry your hair as often as you can. Use a hair dryer during special occasions only (Unless you have a heat protection serum, which I do recommend). In case you run out of time and you feel that blow drying your hair is necessary; just take note that the nozzle should be 8-12 inches away from your hair. Use a comb with large brittles and be careful in letting your hair get stuck using a roller brush. Shampoo your hair with something rich in moisturizer and with vitamin E to further protect your hair. Make sure to put conditioner onto your hair at least three times a week. Use coconut oil and let it remain in your hair for 30 minutes before washing.
If you prefer to keep your hair long, go to a hair salon for trimming at least once every couple of months. There is no need for a professional hair stylist when it comes to moisture because you may personally pamper your hair and scalp by buying your favorite hot oil product over the counter (just remember, you do get what you pay for). Use hot oil products to revitalize one’s hair at least once a week.
Apply mayonnaise to treat split ends on your hair before taking a bath. Let the mayonnaise linger in your hair for 30 minutes then wash your hair with shampoo. There are hair products, especially shampoos that have ingredients that help your hair to become stronger. It also lessens hair breakage due to frequent brushing.
Use small citrus fruit in your hair before taking a bath. Apply the extracts by squeezing directly to your hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes then rinse off with cold water. There is no need to use shampoo; a conditioner alone will do the trick.
Do not overly expose your hair to the sunlight. Always bring an umbrella or hat. Minimize the use of hair sprays; use a strong hold gel instead. Avoid using rubber bands too often as well to minimize the breakage of your hair which can result in split ends. Ask for a doctor’s advice on what type of vitamins to take in order to have a healthy hair. Use hair products that are rich in Vitamin E.
