Constipation is defined as the inability to easily have a bowel movement. Many factors contribute to the development of constipation. Perhaps the most import thing to do is increase your water intake. At least 8 glass of water is recommended. When your bowel is digesting your food, it adds water to the waste as it travels down the bowel. Without enough water in your system your bowel is unable to do its job and constipation can be the result. Keep a glass of water with you and sip on it through the days. Adding psyllium husk products to your diet can also be helpful and psyllium is tasteless. Just be sure you drink enough water along with this.
