The Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 beauty pageant is unlike any other pageant I have ever heard of. While most beauty pageants include artificially whitened teeth and fake tans, the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 includes many more fake features.
The Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant focuses on Hungarian women who have gone under the knife. All of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 contestants have had extensive plastic surgery.
What do I think of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009? I think it is degrading to women and sends the wrong message to young women in Hungary. Hungarian women already possess an exotic beauty, with high cheekbones and almond shaped eyes.
Why would these naturally beautiful women want plastic surgery? The Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant glorifies plastic surgery as an option for women with low self esteem.
Dr. Tomas Rozsos hails plastic surgery as a way for women to be able to have “normal” features.
What is that supposed to mean? Just because a woman is not picture perfect doesn’t mean she’s not beautiful. If you look at the pictures of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant at the Huffington Post, you will see that the women are naturally beautiful.
The winners of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 probably didn’t even need plastic surgery in order to win their awards.
What I find particularly amusing about the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant is the fact that the winner has crooked teeth. Not that she doesn’t have a beautiful smile – I just find it odd that the center of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant is perfection, and the winner isn’t even perfect.
Plastic surgery does have its place in society to help out those who are accident victims, cancer patients, and those born with severe congenital abnormalities. However, women who are already beautiful don’t need to have plastic surgery!
The Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant is bizarre and probably misunderstood by most as an important event for Hungarian women.
I think the women of Hungary need to celebrate their natural beauty instead of making a mockery of all women in events orchestrated by perverse men such as the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 pageant.
The winners of the Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 beauty pageant won an apartment in Budapest (1), a car (2), or diamond jewelry valued at USD $10,800 (3).
Oh – the plastic surgeon of the winners also received prizes as well.
