My NCAA Football 2009-2010 Rankings After Week Thirteen

The Gators rolled past Florida State, Texas outlasted the Aggies, and Alabama rallied past the Auburn in a week full of upsets. Pittsburgh was upset by West Virginia on a last second field goal. The SEC scored two big upsets with Georgia knocking off Georgia Tech and South Carolina clobbering Clemson. Oklahoma shocked Oklahoma State 27-0. Mississippi State stunned Mississippi 41-27. North Carolina State upset North Carolina 28-27. This week has a lot of big games wth big stakes. Florida plays Alabama in Atlanta with the winner most likely going to the BCS Championship Game. Texas versus #17 Nebraska for the Big 12 title and BCS bid. #6 Cincinnati tries to stay unbeaten against #11 Pittsburgh. The winner will be the Big East Champion. #12 Georgia Tech plays Clemson for the ACC Championship. #10 Oregon hosts #18 Oregon State on Thursday with a Rose Bowl bid on the line. Here are this week’s rankings:

1) Florida (12-0) crushed Florida State 37-10. The Gators meet Alabama in Atlanta on Saturday.

2) Texas (12-0) outlasted Texas A&M 49-39. The Longhorns play Nebraska on Saturday.

3) Alabama (12-0) rallied past Auburn 26-21. The Crimson Tide face Florida in Atlanta on Saturday.

4) TCU (12-0) crushed New Mexico 51-10. The Horned Frogs have completed their regular season.

5) Boise State (12-0) beat Nevada 44-33. The Broncos host New Mexico State on Saturday.

6) Cincinnati (11-0) beat Illinois 49-36. The Bearcats visit Pittsburgh on Saturday.

7) Ohio State (10-2) The Buckeyes regular season is complete.

8) Iowa (10-2) The Hawkeyes regular season is complete.

9) Penn State (10-2) regular season is complete.

10) Oregon (9-2) had the week off. The Ducks host Oregon State on Thursday.

11) Pittsburgh (9-2) lost to West Virginia 19-16. The Panthers host Cincinnati on Saturday.

12) Georgia Tech (10-2) lost to Georgia 30-24. The Yellow Jackets play Clemson for the ACC title on Saturday.

13) BYU (10-2) defeated Utah 26-23 in overtime. The Cougars regular season is complete.

14) LSU (9-3) topped Arkansas 33-30 in overtime. The Tigers regular season is complete.

15) Wisconsin (8-3) had the week off. The Badgers visit Hawaii on Saturday.

16) Virginia Tech (9-3) routed Virginia 42-13. The Hokies regular season is complete.

17) Nebraska (9-3) beat Colorado 28-20. The Cornhuskers meet Texas on Saturday for the Big 12 title game.

18 Oregon State (8-3) did not play. The Beavers visit Oregon on Thursday.

19) California (8-3) had a week off. The Golden Bears visit Washington on Saturday.

20) Utah (9-3) lost to BYU 26-23 in overtime. The Utes regular season is complete.

21) Miami (9-3) beat South Florida 31-10. The Hurricanes regular season is complete.

22) Oklahoma State (9-3) lost to Oklahoma 27-0. The Cowboys regular season is complete.

23) West Virginia (8-3) upset Pittsburgh 19-16. The Mountaineers visit Rutgers on Saturday.

24) USC (8-3) defeated UCLA 28-7. The Trojans host Arizona on Saturday.

25) Houston (10-2) beat Rice 73-14. The Cougars visit East Carolina for the Conference USA Championship on Saturday.
