Jon Gosselin met Nancy Grace on The Insider and it wasn’t pretty. Nancy Grace interviewed Jon Gosselin on The Insider as part of a panel that was discussing what Jon Gosselin has been up to in recent days and weeks. He went on the panel for The Insider with his lawyer, probably looking to put a positive spin on some of the things that he has been accused of doing recently, and it could not have turned out worse for Jon Gosselin in the end. Instead of impressing his opinions of the situation on the panel, Nancy Grace almost took over the interview, and really put Jon Gosselin in his place about trying to steal the spotlight.
The most recent news that put Jon Gosselin in a negative light was when he drained the joint bank account he shares with his wife Kate Gosselin. The pair has become famous through their TLC “reality” show Jon and Kate Plus 8, but due to Jon Gosselin’s antics recently, coupled with a Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin divorce, TLC is moving on without Jon Gosselin on the show. The new show is going to be named Kate Plus 8, and will get its debut in November, without Jon Gosselin as a main player anymore. He didn’t take very kindly to that decision by TLC, and has been trying his hardest to keep cameras off of his property. It has really shown him in a much different light than when he was on the show with his wife.
When trying to talk on The Insider, Gosselin was asked about his kids and the impact the show has on them, but instead of directly answering the question, he started talking about himself and what he was doing. That didn’t make Nancy Grace very happy, who poignantly shut him down by interjecting statements about Jon Gosselin making this all about him when she asked about his children. Nancy Grace has never been called a quiet person, nor has she always had tact, but what she does do is control interviews and get people to make a point without going around and around with fluff during their statements. She put Jon Gosselin on the spot, unlike many other shows that have interviewed him, and Jon Gosselin flat out folded under pressure.
Looking back, Jon Gosselin is going to quickly realize that he made a mistake by going on The Insider, and he should have known or done some better research about what Nancy Grace might attempt to do on the show. She wants answers, and she hates hearing excuses about why people do things. To her credit, she has made a living off of her interviewing techniques, and she did a good job once again on The Insider. What she also did was aid Kate Gosselin’s side of things as she tries to figure out what Jon Gosselin is doing by emptying out their joint bank account that they use to pay the bills. Each time Jon Gosselin goes on television he loses more supporters, so maybe it is about time that he just buttons up the house and stops with the press tour. He needs to go home and spend this time with his eight kids.
