National Enquirer‘s Tiger Woods affair allegations remain front and center in Mr. Woods car accident discussions despite the fact that Woods and Rachel Uchitel both deny the affair ever took place. While many ignore the National Enquirer’s reports, the alleged affair has become front and center after an early morning car accident that happened Friday right off of Tiger Woods’ exclusive Florida property.
Celebrity gossip site TMZ contends that The National Enquirer article about the alleged Tiger Woods affair was partially to blame for the accident. They claim that Elin and Tiger were fighting about the alleged affair when Elin grew irate, and scratched up Tigers’ face. Tiger then proceeded to leave, and Elin grabbed a golf club. As Tiger drove away, Elin proceeded to smash out windows in the SUV. Tiger grew distracted and hit a fire hydrant and then a neighbor’s tree. Of course, this is only how a Web site claims that the events took place.
Mr. Woods issued a statement that indicated that there are many rumors circulating around about him and his family. He asked for privacy from the media, and added that his wife acted “courageously” when she saw him in need of help.
Tiger still hasn’t spoken to police to give a statement about the accident. Rachel Uchitel isn’t speaking about the National Enquirer’s alleged affair either, except for to say that it didn’t happen and she doesn’t even know Tiger Woods. However, TMZ caught up to Rachel today as she left her Manhattan apartment and took a plane to meet celebrity attorney Gloria Allred at LAX. Now that Rachel Uchitel has lawyer-ed up, what does that mean? Will she sue the National Enquirer for defamation? Or is there something else up her and Gloria’s sleeve?
OF course, we all know that we haven’t heard the last of the alleged Tiger Woods affair first indicated by National Enquirer. We also haven’t heard the last of the conspiracy theories surrounding the Tiger Woods car accident. As much as Tiger Woods wants to keep the accident a private matter, things are far too gone for that. The fact that Tiger hasn’t yet spoken to the police further feeds the media frenzy surrounding the accident.
It will be an interesting week. It will be interesting to see if Gloria Allred has a press conference to talk about the National Enquirer Tiger Woods affair allegations, and it will be interesting to see if Tiger ever decides to open up to police about the car accident.
