New Moon Premiere in Los Angeles Begins Final New Moon Blitz

by sawpan

The New Moon premiere in Los Angeles was the climax for months of New Moon hype. But the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles only allowed select Twilight and New Moon fanatics to see Edward, Bella and Jacob on screen. The wider New Moon premiere outside of Los Angeles is still three days away, as New Moon finally gets set to conquer the human world on November 20. With the New Moon premiere at Los Angeles, the final chapter of the Twilight saga return is at hand at last.

For months, New Moon trailers and other promotional materials had made Twilight fangirls crazy. But at last, the New Moon premiere finally came in Los Angeles last night, as the Twilight gang got to walk the red carpet at last. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner somehow had time to attend, despite the insanely crowded schedule they will have this week.

No self-respecting Twilight worshipper – or anyone else, period – is not aware that Twilight: New Moon finally premieres this Friday. The fanbase has had November 20 circled on their calenders for months, and now they are set to take the box office by storm.

Already, the New Moon premiere may be one of the most profitable ever, as more advanced tickets have been bought online for the film than any in history. Obviously, box office projections are going to run wild this weekend, but fans don’t care too much for that.

For them, the New Moon premiere is their chance to finally see Edward, Bella, Jacob and the vampires on screen again, after a year-long wait. Team Edward and Team Jacob don’t need any more reasons to get excited, though that won’t stop their idols from trying.

The final publicity blitz for New Moon already had Kristen Stewart go on The Tonight Show and Taylor Lautner appear on Jay Leno last night, before the Los Angeles premiere. The star trio also appeared on last week’s Entertainment Weekly cover, while Robert Pattinson just got named as People’s Sexiest Man Alive.

While the New Moon premiere in Los Angeles was big, it was only a practice run for the madness to come. There are still about 72 hours left for things to get crazier, which they will, before the Twilight saga finally comes back to the big screen on Friday.
