Start Tight Ends:
Dallas Clark: Clark is always a reliable target for Manning. Expect 70 yards receiving.
Tony Gonzalez: Gonzalez put up great numbers last week, posting 80 yards and a touchdown. Don’t expect as much this week, but still anticipate a 60 yard game and a touchdown.
Vernon Davis: Davis put up huge numbers last week catching for 100+ yards and a touchdown. He should do pretty well this week posting 50 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville.
Antonio Gates: Gates is one of Philip Rivers’ main targets. He should get about 70 yards this week against the weak Tampa Bay defense.
Brent Celek: Celek didn’t put up big numbers last week, but I think this week he should be more productive. Expect 50 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins’ defense.
Jermichael Finley: Finley is one of Rodgers’ go-to guys. He’s been putting up large numbers when he is healthy. Expect 70+ yards this week against Detroit.
Visanthe Shiancoe: Shiancoe has been one of the premier tight ends this year. Expect 40 yards and a touchdown this week.
Heath Miller: Miller is facing the Chief’s defense. He should have good match-ups this week. Expect a 60 yard performance.
Sit Tight Ends:
Kevin Boss: Boss will be facing the tough Atlanta defense. Expect only 40 yards from him.
Brandon Pettigrew: Pettigrew will be facing the Packers’ defense this week. They have stayed strong this season after switching to the 3-4. Expect a 40 yard performance.
David Thomas: Thomas will be facing the Patriots’ defense this week. He isn’t usually a big target for Brees so expect 50 yards this week.
Greg Olsen: Olsen is playing Minnesota this week, one of the toughest defenses in the league. He’ll probably be used mainly for extra pass defense, so expect a mediocre 30 yard performance.
Green Bay: We’ll have to see how they do without Kampman and Harris.
Dallas: Dallas is playing a weak Oakland Offense.
Philadelphia: Philadelphia is facing Washington’s benign offense who only put 2 field goals on the scoreboard last week.
Atlanta: Tampa Bay has switched to Josh Freeman, and don’t have a descent running attack. Atlanta should do well this week.
San Diego: The Chargers are playing Kansas City. Last week they only allowed 3 points to the Broncos offense. Expect a likewise performance this week.
Miami: Miami’s defense hasn’t been doing great, but they are playing a weak Buffalo offense.
Minnesota: Expect Minnesota to hold the Bear’s defense to 21 points or fewer, and throw in a few sacks with that as well.
Cincinnati: With descent pass coverage, the Bengals should prevent the Browns from advancing down the field to score.
Pittsburg: Baltimore had troubles last week only putting 15 points on the board.
Baltimore: Pittsburg’s offense should perform well this week. Last week Big Ben posted 3 touchdowns, and I think he should do this again this week.
Tennessee/Arizona: This is going to be a high-scoring game. This will hurt your defensive stats.
Seattle: Seattle is missing 2 of their best defensive players. Expect Steven Jackson to get more touches, and possibly run all over Seattle’s defense.
New England/ New Orleans: This should be another high-scoring game. Drew Brees and Tom Brady should be airing out the ball to their wide-outs.
Washington: Philadelphia’s offense has been dominant the last few weeks and I am sure it will continue against the Redskin’s defense.
Detroit: Green Bay’s defense put up huge numbers last week against San Francisco’s good defense.
Kansas City: The Chiefs are playing San Diego’s charged up defense. San Diego should shock the Chief’s.
