Pam is a character on the hit HBO TV Show, True Blood. She is the co owner (along with Eric) of Fangtasia, a vampire bar. Pam is brilliantly played by Kristen Bauer. Though Pam doesn’t have as much screen time as other characters on the show, she still has a strong fan following. She is pure sexiness and toughness put together in one hot package.
If you’re a fan of Pam or of True Blood, then why not do something different this Halloween and dress up in a True Blood Pam costume? It would be easy to put together your own costume and you’d be sure to have a lot of fun telling everyone what character you were from your favorite show.
This article will serve as your guide, giving you suggestions on how you can put together your own Pam Halloween costume.
Clothing: Pam has several clothing looks on True Blood. One minute she’s dressed in something that looks like she should be holding a whip and other times she wears clothes that look completely normal (like a pink shirt and pants on one of the post episodes of True Blood). This article will focus on her naughty look. Click here for a YouTube video of Pam’s different looks.
For her top, go for a black halter top. It doesn’t have to be exact to the one that Pam wears in the show. Accept that you may have to improvise to make your costume a success and work with what you can find. You can look for a black halter top at a local retail store or even a thrift store. You can even look on eBay or buy a black halter top from Guess by Marciano for $39.95. For pants, stick to black and make sure that they aren’t super loose. You want more of a tight look. If you want to buy a pair online, consider the Cinched Faux Leather Pants in black from Forever21.com for $22.80.
Shoes, simply go with a pair of black high heels or black flats.
Hair: Pam has long blonde hair and if your hair is long and blonde, style it down. If you need a wig, try to match one to as close to color as Pam’s hair is. For example, you don’t want to buy a bright blonde wig. You can buy wigs from Halloween costume areas at a retail store near you.
Makeup: Vampires in the show True Blood are pale. They’re not creepy pale like other vampires in different books and movies are. Instead, they simply look like they’ve spent all their time indoors and haven’t had any sunlight. You can buy costume makeup from Halloween sections at a local store. Buy a white and buy one that is a skin tone color and mix them together to come up with a shade that’s right for you, that still is close to Pam’s white skin tone for your True Blood Halloween costume. You’ll also want to wear red lipstick (more of a darker red, not bright) and black eyeliner, smudged and charcoal eye shadow.
Jewelry: Crosses don’t repel or hurt a vampire (unless they’re silver of course). Pam was spotted wearing a cross necklace in her black sexy outfit so you’ve got to add the cross to your own Pam True Blood Costume. Look in the costume or gothic section of your Halloween store. You could also make do with the one found at Jewelry For Gifts.com here. It sells for $18.95.
Props: Vampfangs.com sells a pair of vampire fangs that are more realistic then the ones you may find at stores in person. The teeth are made to more easily fit into your mouth, leaving your speech clear when you speak. They sell a smaller pair of fangs for $14.95 that could mimic Pam’s vampire teeth.
