One of the least popular aisles for me to walk down when food shopping is the aisle with all the odors. You know what I mean, where they have all the boxes of soaps, spray deodorizers of all sizes, shapes and scents, including scented cleaning products. Since my sinus’s so not do so well with scents I usually stay as far away from those two areas as possible. I also wanted to do a product review on one of my favorite products Lysol Disinfectant Spray.
One day, after I had just fought off one cold after another, my daughter suggested I buy a can of Lysol Spray to get rid of those germs lingering in my house. So in my next shopping trip, I forced myself to visit the dreaded ‘scent’ aisle to search for and buy a can of Lysol Disinfectant Spray. Since they were on sale I ended up buying two cans.
The scents on each of the Lysol cans varied, and not knowing which scent would not aggravate my tender sinus’s I selected the Lysol Crisp Linen scent. Figured linen scent could not be as bad as roses or gardenias scents, so I put one can into my shopping cart and picked up the other to read the outside of the can itself for my review.
It was a 12.5oz size can and and boasted of the ability to Kill Flu Virus+. Figured the + was for everything else that gets you feeling lousy, achy, sneezing and coughing and sounded just like what I needed. I read further and noticed that it kills 99.9% of the germs and since that is as close to 100% as you can get I was impressed. Further down on the Lysol Disinfectant can I noticed it also claims to eliminate odors and kill mold and mildew in moist areas on the corners and tops of bathroom and kitchen sinks. I was completely sold by now so I finished my food shopping and went home to ‘Kill the Viruses” lingering in my home now that I had a weapon in my hand to kill them all.
I had a great time. I sprayed the couch, upholstered chairs, walls, top of the ceiling fans and of course the window drapes and curtains. My house smelled clean and fresh and the best part was that I did not sneeze as I sprayed. The scent of the Lysol Disinfectant spray did not irritate my nose – it just cleaned the air as it said it would. I also stopped getting sick each week. I guess whatever bug was in the air that kept returning- had been completely eliminated with a push of the button on the Lysol Disinfectant Spray Can. Now each room was virus germ free I was no longer getting sick and I was also anxious to write a review about how great this Lysol product was.
I use Lysol Disinfectant Crisp Linen Scent each time I change the linens on my bed. I strip the bed, spray the mattress and pillows and let them air out for a while. Then I put the clean sheets on the bed. On top of that I put my bedspread and tossed pillows. As soon as I walk out of the room, my cat jumps on the bed, stretches out on top of the bed cover to smell the clean fresh scent of the Lysol Disinfectant spray and take her nap. That in itself makes for a good product review.
The best part of using this product is that when you go to bed at night, the Lysol Spray scent makes the bed feel and smell extremely fresh and clean.
I love this product for many of the reasons as mentioned in my review, but the best reason of all is that the scent does not irritate my nose. It just makes the entire house smell fresh and clean. I now spray each room at least once a week to keep the bacteria, viruses’ and germs out of my house – and it works!
