The “Home Alone” kid had a great idea that worked for awhile; fool the would-be burglars into believing someone, as in several people if necessary, are home. This scheme could be the only defense barrier aside from fences and an alarm system that might work to keep trespassers off of prime hunting property.
Prime hunting property as being flourishing with wildlife where there is no hunting allowed. The owners do not hunt or allow others to hunt on their property. They do not lease out their property to hunters.
Hunting trespassers may watch prime hunting properties to see how frequently the owners are on the property especially properties that the owner does not live on. Hunting trespassers could be neighbors with adjacent properties or they could be the visitors or relatives to the neighbors with adjacent properties.
By strategically placing life-sized replicas of images throughout the property the “Home Alone” kids illusion can come to life.
Enlargement of photos which can be glued onto a piece of cardboard such as the sides of a cardboard box can be cut out and hidden peeping from behind bushes and trees or stuck in open ground to look like someone is there and watching. Cardboard cutouts of life-sized celebrities or cutouts featuring human images for advertisements can also be brought onto the property and set in strategic positions to dissuade trespassers.
A spring coil can be used to add movement like a “bobble head.” A spring coil could be punched through a cardboard hand where flowers, a rag or a cap etc. can be attached to the spring coil so the spring coil can be hidden and the item can move.
For twenty-four hour trickery solar lights can be placed near the cardboard humans so they stand out at night.
The cardboard humans will ruin if it rains but they can always be placed under a shed or building if the weather starts looking bad.
Along with the use of cardboard humans and solar lights, dolls can be included in helping to fool burglars just don’t use any dolls that have value or that you don’t mind getting torn up. Preferably use large dolls instead of small ones. The larger the doll the more realistic it will appear from a distance.
Throw in scarecrows for added trickery and who knows what will happen. Hopefully the scarecrows will scare off trespassing hunters. If they are dressed as close to looking human as possible including shoes and perhaps a hat and then displayed.
To further fool trespassers footprints can be spaced following the cardboard humans, dolls and the scarecrows.
And one last thing, when visiting your property make a lot of noise and visit it as often as you can to make anyone close by, possible trespassers, aware that there is someone watching out for the property.
