Summer Activities in Sea Isle City
Naturally, the Sea Isle’ beach is the biggest draw, and if splashing in the waves or sunbathing is not enough for you, visit the rafting, surfing, kayaking, volleyball, sail boating and surf fishing beaches. Beach information. If you’re really brave, Sea Isle Parasailing offers a bird’s eye view of the beach and town.
Sea Isle hosts an annual fishing tournament, and its fleet of charter and fishing boats offer daily four, six or eight hour fishing trips, along with special canyon trips for trophy fish. Check here for listings.
Gillian’s Funland is a brand new amusement park where children will delight in the indoor, midway and water rides. And the kids will love the preview of Halloween offered in the annual Buccaneers Pirate Show and Costume Contest and Cinderella Show and Costume Contest.
Sports camps and clinics are held at Sea Isle’s Dealy Field, offering children the opportunity to hone their abilities and keep fit on the off-season. Adults can take part in Yogafit.on the beach, and aerobics at the local community center. Check here for details.
On Mondays, free Concerts under the Stars are presented; on Tuesday, the Farmers Market opens; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, enjoy Free Movies Under the Stars and Guided Beachcombing; and Wednesday take everyone out to the Free Family Night Dance Parties. Autumn Events in Sea Isle City
Sea Isle’s Family Fall Festival in September highlights the Seaside Market and Food Court, includes live music, a sand-sculpting contest, and trolley rides. The Antique Auto Show caps off the weekend. Also in September, the Irish Festival features more than 50 crafts and Irish collectible vendors, along with live music, including bag pipers, Irish food and Irish dancers.
In October, the Baby Boomer’s Rock and Roll fundraiser weekend rocks Sea Isle, hosted by Philadelphia’s own, DJ Jerry Blavat, followed by the annual Firefighters Memorial 5K Run on Sunday. The annual Italian Festival offers entertainment, Italian food and family -oriented activities, and coincides with Sea Isle’s Columbus Day Parade.

Historical Sites in Sea Isle City
From May to October, the Sea Isle Historical Museum (and Gift Shop) can be explored, and free walking tours are available. And last, but not least, lighthouse aficionados will want to seek out the decommissioned Ludlam’s Beach Lighthouse, which has been moved from its original site and is presently under restoration.
