Shampoo You Might Want to Think Twice About Buying

by sawpan

There are all kinds of shampoos out on the market. Some of these shampoos are very good while other shampoos have a lot to be desired.

Finding a shampoo that we like and that fits our hair needs is a trail and error process. This process can be frustrating and time consuming. It can also become very expensive.

When we find a shampoo that we like and it works well for us, then we are satisfied and happy. We will then continue to use the shampoo that we’re happy with for a long time.

Problems can start while we are finding the right shampoo. There are a lot of reactions that can happen to your head and hair if you try the wrong shampoo. Some of these reactions could be a dry scalp, itchy scalp, rash on the scalp, flaky scalp and hair falling out, just to name a few.

Here are 3 shampoos that might not be as good as the commercials say they are, and you might want to think twice before buying them.

1. Sauve – this shampoo smells wonderful, but it tends to dry out the hair on some people. It also makes the hair very course and hard to work with.

2. Herbal Essences – this shampoo comes in a variety of very fresh scents. It can cause itchy scalp and can make some people lose their hair.

3. Pantene – this shampoo is suppose to make your hair shiny, silky and soft. It tends to cause allergic reactions like itchy scalp, drys out hair and scalp, and causes flaking.

I have personally tried the Sauve and Herbal Essences. I had problems with both shampoos. The Sauve shampoo did dry my hair out and it also made my hair full of static. The Herbal Essences shampoo smelled great and I used this one all the time. Over a period of time I noticed that I had a lot more hair falling out then I use too. That really concerned me. I then changed shampoo and within a month my hair stopped falling out.

It’s pretty bad when the shampoo companies won’t come clean about what their shampoos are capable of doing. They should be required to have possible reactions listed on the shampoo bottles or on their ads like the pharmaceutical companies do.

I guess we will never know what shampoos work with our body chemistry unless we try them and hopefully won’t have a reaction to them.

Once we find a shampoo that we like we need to make sure we stay brand loyal to it, otherwise we will be back to trying shampoos with possible reactions which is no fun.
