Soulja Boy arrested? Although it hardly seems strange that headlines involving a rap star getting arrested would be surprising, “Soulja Boy arrested” headlines are making people scratch their heads.
You see, the “Soulja Boy arrested” headlines started when rapper Soulja Boy ran from the police.
Running from the police is a big no-no. The whole situation leading up to the “Soulja Boy arrested” incident is bizarre.

“Soulja Boy arrested” headlines make me scratch my head and wonder if this rapper was arrested on purpose.
Why on earth would Soulja Boy want to get arrested? Rappers sometimes like to have “street cred.”
Many famous rappers have had numerous run-ins with the law. Late rapper Tupac Shakur is famous for his $10 million lawsuit against law enforcement of the Oakland Police Department. The Oakland Police Department brutally beat Tupac Shakur because he jaywalked.
Shakur’s legal problems also included sexual assault charges, assault charges, and a wrongful death conviction.
Snoop Dog is another rapper with a laundry-list criminal record. Snoop dog “boasts” various drug, weapons, and assault charges.
Even Eminem has a criminal record. On June 3, 2000 he added the charges of carrying a concealed weapon without a license, and assault with a deadly weapon to his rap sheet.
The “Soulja Boy arrested” situation could have been the young rappers attempt to add to his criminal record.
Why didn’t Soulja Boy just stay put? Could it be that Soulja Boy had something on his person that he didn’t want the cops to find? Perhaps if he stuck around, he would have been arrested for bigger charges.
Could it be that teen rap sensation Soulja Boy isn’t really a thug? Maybe he feels some sort of pressure from the industry to become an “outlaw” or “criminal.”
I will never understand why the “Soulja Boy arrested” situation occurred. After all, Soulja Boy didn’t do anything wrong.
I will also never understand why a whole industry of artists is proud of criminal records. I am disappointed when I get a traffic ticket, so I know I would be crushed if I had a felony or misdemeanor on my record.
What do you think of the whole “Soulja Boy arrested” situation? Was he acting out of impulse, or did he just want his very own criminal record?
