The Gaylord Palms Resort unveils its ICE! exhibit on November 14, 2009 and the event includes an amazing light spectacle inside the resort. Grab your coat, scarf and boots before you head to this one-of-a-kind event designed with two million pounds of ice. The 2009 holiday season is the seventh year the ICE! event will be running, and you’ll get to see the works of ice carvers from China as you take in the holiday lights. Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights for 2009
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights takes place at Disney Hollywood Studios each year, and is the biggest holiday lights display in Orlando. This event kicks off on November 10, 2009 and features millions of twinkling lights synchronized to traditional holiday music. Cinesphere Event at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando lights up for the season with its nightly Cinesphere spectacular that projects scenes of Hollywood’s major movies onto large spheres floating in the Universal Studios lagoon. The entire park is decorated in holiday lights and animated displays, and you’ll get to close out the night with an explosive fireworks display. Other not-to-be-missed events at Universal Studios include Macy’s Holiday Parade and the Grinchmas celebration at Islands of Adventure.
2009 Holiday Lights at Downtown Disney
