Men who play games are all over the place nowadays. It can be hard to figure out what to put in their stocking because the games they play seem so complicated. Not to worry, here are eight stocking stuffer ideas for men who love to game.

Stocking Stuffer Idea #1: Game Cards

Is the man in your life is on the computer playing World of Warcraft, City of Heroes or any other massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG)? If he is then you can head over to Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy and stick a time card in his stocking. They run roughly $30 and give him two months of play time.

If your gamer plays any tabletop games or role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons, then dice is always the perfect gift. Get all different kinds from six-sided all the way up to 20-sided dice. If you hunt around then you can find ones with fun colors and designs. Try EBay or see if your area has a gaming store.

Stocking Stuffer Idea #3: Decks of Cards

A lot of gamers play various card games, from Magic: The Gathering to Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh. Head over to your local gaming store and pick out some cards for his deck. You can either pick out individual cards or buy packets. The packets are probably the best way to go if you don’t know what cards he already has or needs.

If your gamer has a computer or video game that he loves to play, then there is probably a strategy guide to go along with it. Strategy guides are great because they give tips and tricks for making the most out of a game. They also point out little things about the game that most people playing may have missed. You can get these in places like GameStop or EB Games.

Stocking Stuffer Idea #6: Figures

There are several tabletop games that require figures to play them. You can run out to a game store and get your gamer some of these figures for his game. Most of them come in sets and you just go in and pick one out. If you are unsure, usually the people that work at game stores will have a lot of tips so you can pick out the perfect ones.

Stocking Stuffer Idea #7: Card Holder or Dice Pouch

A lot of gamers have a lot of dice or cards to haul around from place to place when they want to play. You can get your gamer something to contain everything. Get him a little pouch to hold all his dice in or a place to put all of his cards. This is something small that he will appreciate, because everything will be kept in one place and he won’t have to hunt around for them.

Stocking Stuffer Idea #8: Extra Paper and Pencils

A lot of games have their own scoring system, and your gamer will appreciate the extra paper and pencils in his stocking. Find out if the game that your gamer plays has its own scoring sheet. If it does then either buy a tablet of it or make copies for him. Any man who plays games would love the thought of having extras around.

These eight ideas are sure to please any man who loves to game. They’re small enough to fit in his stocking and bring a little extra surprise on Christmas morning.
