Swine flu also known as H1N1 has become a level 6 pandemic. This flu has left a lot of people with unanswered questions and concerns. I needed more information on this flu, I wanted up to the minute reports and the ability to see how my local area was fairing. So I started a search for a website that would fit my needs. The result of my search was swineflu.org. Swineflu.org has up to the minute pandemic flu information as well as a state community forum. I was excited to see that I was able to access local flu information on this site. The site consists of many different forums and subjects.
The first forum that you will see is the general discussion on the Swine Flu. The general discussion area is where you may want to discuss anything swine flu related. They also have a forum called the flu clinic online this is were you can post your Swine flu symptoms or tell your personal Swine flu story. My favorite forum is called latest news, this is were you will find all the latest news on the Swine flu from all over the world.
Another forum is called vaccine news. This is the place to visit if you want the latest news on the H1N1 vaccine. Their is also a forum called emergency preparedness. This is the place to get helpful prepping tips and ideas for when you fall ill or a family member becomes ill and can’t leave the house.
Swineflu.org also has separate forums for each state in the country. Which includes information on schools reporting Swine flu, hospital information, event cancellations, local news and county forums. The final forum on the swine flu message board is a tracking forum. This forum will help you keep track of the Swine flu outbreak closely.
Swineflu.org is a very active site and has some great moderators that keep the site cleaned up. I have been following this site since the beginning of the Swine flu outbreak. The site has grown in members and posts since I first started visiting this site. I personally will visit this site once a day to keep informed of the current Swine flu situation. I find the information on the site very informative and factual. Most people will sign up for a free membership and post and reply in the forums or you can be like me and just visit.
