by sawpan

Whether you are a collector of Christmas ornaments or just happen upon something that catches your eye, chances are Hallmark will have something that you will fall in love with. With a product catalog of over three hundred unique and awe inspiring designs to choose from it might be hard to walk out of a Gold Crown store with only a few. Coming up with a list of just ten of these amazing pieces was difficult but it was an extreme pleasure to be able to pick out my personal favorites and share them with you.

1. “Season’s Treatings” ($10.00) showcases homemade gifts and is part of a series that will be released over the 2009 holiday season. Priced in the ten dollar range, this series is destined to be a classic keepsake item that will be enjoyed for years to come.

2. “Winter Fun with Snoopy” ($8.50) Piece number twelve in the Snoop Seasonal series, this miniature ornament features Snoopy and Woodstock sharing Christmas wishing with a decorated tree.

3. “Festive Santa” ($8.00) is the first in the series and is a Gold Crown Exclusive piece. Adorned with the year 2009 on the sack of presents, Santa is ready to deliver all his presents for the girls and boys on his list.

4. “Subzero Serenade” ($12.50) is a beautiful ornament with three penguins singing carols. The igloo in the background reflects light from Christmas decorations and gives it a unique look no matter where it is displayed.

5. “Snow Buddies” ($10.00) The snowman and seal featured on this ornament glitter and sparkle; it looks incredible with white lights or silver tinsel. Another Gold Crown Exclusive that is guaranteed to be a family favorite.

6. “A Humble Sort of Christmas” ($14.50) One of the larger ornaments in the Winnie The Pooh Collection, this piece features Eeyore posed with a bow-decorated tree topped off with a shimmering star.

7. “Just The Right Tree” ($28.00) One of the more expensive pieces in the Peanuts Gang series; one press of the button on the side activates a series of blinking lights and prerecorded audio clip of Charlie Brown. This is one of my all time favorite ornaments and something that I know will be enjoyed for years to come.

8. “Santa’s Sleigh Bell” ($12.50) Taken from the hugely popular Polar Express series, this gleaming silver bell is adorned with a round trip ticket that is sure to have boys and girls of all ages wishing that they took could board the legendary train for a Christmas Eve ride.

9. “Christmas Means Something More” ($15.00) This Grinch inspired ornament serves as a nice reminder that the holidays are more than just receiving presents. It is a highly detailed piece that looks beautiful on any theme or style of tree.

10. “Frosty Friends” ($12.50) A downhill trip for a penguin and his pal make for a wonderfully fun ornament. This eskimo and his pal are the thirtieth piece in this seasonal series that include other polar animals, festive scenes and twinkling trees.

You can view all of these ornaments and more at the official Hallmark website. They are sold online as well as at Hallmark stores.
