I have been an avid user of Twitter for almost one year now. The primary reason I joined was to connect with new people and to promote my business. Over the course of the year, I have made connections (through follows) that have not only helped my business to grow, but have helped me to grow in a personal way by helping me change my mindset and my actions, provided me with great ideas, and created excellent joint ventures to benefit the entire Twitter community. Some of these significant Twitter follows that have helped my business and my personal worlds include:
@BodyByChocolates – The Xocai Chocolate Guy who has created an incredible business about healthy chocolate and cohost of our Sunday night joint venture call, HealthWatch
@ForeverGreen – Wonderful woman focused on green living and looking to help others live cleaner, healthier lives
@SkinCareDoc – Researcher who also is passionate about women’s beauty and the skin health of all people
@DanRMorris – Resveratrol expert and antioxidant
@OptionGirl – An excellent options trader and Arbonne distributor who shares really interesting quotes and insights on a daily basis
@KellyOlexa – A fun-loving individual who makes you laugh and think differently about the things going on in the world
@SwanNClover – Scrabble and Wheel of Fortune “queen” who is a blessing to all she meets
…and way too many others to name.
When Associated Content created this challenge, I became excited. This challenge was really excellent for me. I was provided the opportunity to share my own Associated Content writing with my “tweeps” (people on Twitter). This was done through the use of the hashtag #bestofac. My articles, including Ideas to Increase Daily Exercise, The Importance of Follow Up In Your Business, and Halloween Trick or Treat Candy Alternatives, have been retweeted (or posted again to be shared) with the community. Many people have commented through Twitter about these articles, and I also made it to over 1000 page views, taking me to “Clout 4” on Associated Content. I also had a chance to introduce other Associated Content content producers to the people I follow in the Twitter community. This was so much fun because there are some really amazing Associated Content authors who also are part of the Twitter community.
During the AC Twitter Challenge, some of the Associated Content writers I met include:
@TaoJoannes – a very powerful storywriter & poet on Associated Content
@Sushiboofay – Shares some really interesting Halloween ideas I’ll be using this year
@AmyBrowne – Athens, Pennsylvania expert
@RandyInman – Sports writer & fantasy football expert
@happypinkbunnie – Really good articles on a variety of content
@jelenawoehr – an amazing Associated Content writer who’s a Twitter whiz
@mightyminimoose – writes wonderful articles specializing in healthy living
Thank you so much, Associated Content, for creating this challenge, and allowing me to meet so many content writers that I will be following on Twitter and AC from now on.
