Ever since I was a child, I have been a big fan of fudge striped shortbread cookies. I purchased one package of the Wal Mart Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies and I’m very glad that I did so. These inexpensively – priced cookies look just like any other brand of fudge striped shortbread cookies and they feature the same great taste and texture as the much higher – priced brands. These cookies so impressed me, that I was compelled to write a product review of them. I have to say, however, that it is hard for me to eat just three of these cookies, because they are so flavorful.

It must be stated, though, that if you are seeking these cookies at your local Wal Mart store, the package wrapper is very basic. The clear label is accented by an attractive purple border and the top of the wrapper simply features the words Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies. There is no wording that states that these cookies are a Wal Mart product. The only place where it states that these cookies are a Wal Mart product is on the back label, where at the bottom of the ingredient list, it is states that these cookies are marketed by Wal Mart Stores, Inc.
Texture / Appearance
The texture of the Wal Mart brand Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies is pleasant and enjoyable. These cookies are fairly soft, but they also maintain a firmness that offers a slight sense of snap, or bite, when they are bitten into. In appearance, Wal Mart Fudge striped Shortbread Cookies possess the same, familiar appearance as most other brands of fudge striped shortbread cookies. Round in shape, these cookies are coated with chocolate fudge on the bottom and feature zebra – like fudge stripes across their tops.
Taste / Flavor
The dynamic flavor offered by Wal Mart brand Fudge striped Shortbread Cookies is every bit as good as any other brand of fudge striped shortbread cookies that I have ever eaten. The shortbread cookies are pleasant – tasting and are not too sweet and the chocolate fudge that coats these cookies is rich and decadent, yet also not too sweet. To me, Wal Mart Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies are always satisfying, yet never cloying or overpowering.

After purchasing and eating some of these cookies, I am amazed at how such a high – quality product can be sold for such an inexpensive price. Of course, if any retailer can offer very low prices, it is definitely Wal Mart. Compared to other brands of fudge striped shortbread cookies, the price of these cookies is almost unbelieveable.
Overall Rating
All things considered, Wal Mart brand Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies are delicious, high – quality cookies that are very inexpensively – priced. Available at Wal Mart stores across the United States, these cookies are highly recommended by this food writer.
