Working out can be challenging for some individuals, physically, even when there is a mental will to do so. For adults who are eager to begin using the P90X fitness program, the mental challenge may be the last of your concerns. As someone who has attempted, and continues to try, to use the P90X fitness program, there are some recommendations that should be considered before starting.
The P90X fitness program is a great way to lean and tone your body while also energizing your mind and spirit. For the first week of P90X, your mental eagerness and adrenaline rush while on the program may give you a false sense of security for continuing the program. Without being physically prepared for the P90X regimen, your body may quickly tell you to slow down, or even stop, with the program altogether.
After 10 days into the P90X program, some adults experience enormous fatigue. When muscle soreness is beginning to wear off, and the adrenaline rush of beginning a new program diminishes, it is usually at this time that many adults cease to use the extreme fitness program because of general fatigue. Even eating a well balanced diet it not helpful in negating that fatigue and, when not addressed appropriately, the fatigue may result in your cessation of the 90 day workout program altogether.
If you are preparing for the P90X program, or if you are already in the program, it is highly recommended that you supplement your diet with some key vitamins and minerals. Using complex B vitamins, using Omega supplements, and making sure your electrolytes are in balance will be important. While P90X does provide supplements with their program, using these additional supplements is recommended.
Sleep is highly encouraged as you venture into the P90X program but even with quality eight to nine hours of sleep, many adults on P90X are still fatigued. So, prepare to take a few days a week to allow your body to sleep longer periods as the muscle recovery is most affected during this period.
P90X is a great fitness program that many adults are finding a mental connection comes with ease. While muscle soreness fades away, the fatigue will undoubtedly set in and lead to some problems with continuing in the extreme fitness plan. By supplementing your diet with quality B vitamins and Omega supplements, you may still experience extreme fatigue but ultimately this will break and you will move into the next phase of your P90X program and on your way to a more healthy you.
