• I’m thankful for all of my children even the strays I’ve picked up over the year
I have 6 children that are my own and at least one or two that I’ve picked up. They are always able to make me laugh. Being a mother is the hardest and most rewarding job I’ve ever had. I let the children know that they are loved and wanted every day. I’ve taught them the joy of giving as well as to see the meaning in everything that we do.
• I’m thankful for a loving and supporting husband
I could not have a more wonderful husband. He is always so proud of me and our children without hesitation. He encourages me and keeps me focused on the positive things in our life and let go of the ugly stuff we cannot change. He provides for me and our kids and while things where tight for a while we never went without what we needed. He gives me hope when I lose hope. He gives me strength when I’m weak. He gives me my dreams every day. He is a piece of me I can’t live without.
• I’m thankful for a loving and supportive family including the new additions
I’m lucky enough to have many family members both here and in Virginia. My family here is the most supportive of me and mine. They have been with us in everything we do every step of the way. Even when we thought it was impossible they are there for us and I could not have asked for better people. My folks are awesome and have supported my family in everything we do. My brother and his family are truly God sent. I’m just so lucky to have that many people that love me.
• I’m thankful for the Grace of God that blesses our lives each day
I have not given enough credit to God in my life. I have felt him in our lives even in our darkest hours this year. I’m thankful for everything that we have and will have by his grace and love. More and more I’m learning that God needs to be first in everything we do.
• I’m thankful for the trials we have gone thru this year that have made us stronger
They say what does not kill you makes you stronger and I agree. Me and my family have learned this the hard way. However no matter what happened we remained a strong family that leaned on each other. We have all leaned on each other at one time or another this year.
• I’m thankful for the laughs that always seemed to come when we need them
We have had so many laughs and fun that it makes all the ugly stuff pale in comparison. Laughing is defiantly the best medicine in the world. If you can laugh as things it makes it easier to deal with the bad stuff.
• I’m thankful for the joy of working with my husband
I hated the fact that I had to go to work but the kids need things so off to work I go. I am just thankful I get to work with my husband every day. I’m so excited that I get to spend so much time with him. I even get to have lunch with him almost every day.
• I’m thankful for each day I’ve been given to make a difference.
I’m of firm mind that I’ll make each day better then the last and we are now moving in that direction. Letting go of the past! Looking forward to the future each day!!. Making a difference each day in everything that we do is something to be thankful for.
