How many more small young bodies will we continue to find in landfills and ditches along highways, or locked up in tinder boxes, before we are all hurt enough ? Why can’t we cry out loud enough is enough ? Why is it that the rights of sex offenders come before the right to protect our young children.? Aren’t all our children worthy of more respect?
While young families struggle to raise their children, they are surrounded by the mentally dwarfed, deranged and sexually impaired. Those that live among the sexually deviant must always be on their guard. As the predators continue to hunger for our innocent young. The proven sex offender, will be watched as he watches for opportunities to distract and take our young children from us. The proven sex offender may be penalized briefly, yet they get to live out their lives, they carouse our neighborhoods waiting with their insatiable sick lust
Is it not time to elevate the crime to rank among the most serious of all crimes ? To create more severe penalties, that are more appropriate to their crime ? More like an eye for an eye ? Or why not use the threat of permanent castration to hang over the head of a sex offender. Maybe , this just limits their function, but not their appetite. I thinks its time to lock a proven sexual predator up for life.
For those that work in the areas of rehabilitation. I ask, why has Megan’s law not reduced their ability to re-offend ? Megan’s law, is enacted and enforced on a state to state basis. It is always interesting to see how close the perpetrator live from a victim, sadly this is ” found out” after the crime
Why must we continue to search for our lost young knowing they more than likely, lay where their used bodies are thrown . Yet, a sick and satisfied man or woman walks away to live out another day.
How powerless parents feel. As even when; their daughters and sons are warned of the evil that is lurking out there . They must live in fear. As most parents have instilled in their children, appropriate fear and the the precautions they must use. However, even then then they are left to worry and pray that their children will be safe. And then just hope that it will be enough to avoid an evil encounter.
I can only imagine the escalated fear in an entire community, when they say that there are over 20 sex offenders living in a five mile radius of this family’s home located in Fl. If this was known. Why is there not a plan in place to protect children within this five mile radius ? Why can’t there be patrols in the neighborhoods to better protect children walking home from school ?
We as parents have little or no forgiveness left for sex offenders. When many may also be latent killers. Taking from all of us the laughter, the joy and, the very breath of a child that is so loved.
