For the Best Drama Series, the nominees were Big Love, Damages, Breaking Bad, Dexter, House and Mad Men, and the award went to Mad Men.
For the Best Comedy Series, the nominees were 30 Rock, Family Guy, Entourage, How I met your mother, Flight of the Chonchords, The Office, and Weeds. The winner was 30 Rock.
For the Best Actor in a Drama Series the nominees were Michael C. Hall for Dexter, Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad, Hugh Laurie for House, Gabriel Burne for In Treatment, Jon Hamm for Mad Men, and Simon Baker for The Mentalist. The award went to Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad.
For Best Actress in a Drama Series the nominees were Sally Field for Brothers and Sisters, Glenn Close for Damages,Mariska Hargitay for Law & Order, Holly Hunter for Saving Grace, Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer, and Elisabeth Moss for Mad Men. The winner was Glenn Close for Damages.
For Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series the nominees were William Shatner for Boston Legal, Christian Clemenson for Boston Legal, Aaron Paul for Breaking Bad, Michael Emerson for Lost, John Slattery for Mad Men, and William Hurt for Damages. The award went to Michael Emerson for Lost.
For Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series the nominees were Rose Byrne for Damages, Hope Davis for In Treatment, Chandra Wilson for Grey’s Anatomy, Sandra Oh for Grey’s Anatomy, Dianne Wiest for In Treatment and Cherry Jones for 24. The award went to Cherry Jones for 24.
